Senior DevOps Engineer — Deployment Automation

We’re opening the position of DevOps Engineer to extend the CI/CD automation team in the project of our customers. They provide SaaS solutions that help companies to optimize their businesses. These solutions include business planning & execution, processes automation & optimization. The Customer’s platform leverages industry-leading artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) for better predictions and prevention of disruptions across the businesses.

The candidate will be responsible for the development of automation solutions utilizing Ansible Core.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop Ansible playbooks and modules
  • Work collaboratively with the automation team to create and deploy Ansible/Terraform solutions  on Azure
  • Upgrade current GitHub Actions pipelines
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in our dev, test, and production environments
  • Update system and process documentation and user guides as needed as well as diagrams and SOPs
  • Continuously improve the DevOps process, including streamlining the build and release processes, automating manual processes, and implementing best practices
  • Provide technical guidance and support to other team members on DevOps-related issues
  • Collaborate with other teams and stakeholders to ensure that DevOps solutions are aligned with business needs and requirements

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of commercial experience in IT
  • Proven experience in creating and deploying Ansible collections and playbooks
  • Strong knowledge of Ansible is a must
  • Proven experience with GiHub Actions is a must
  • Python scripting is a must
  • Familiarity with Azure
  • Proven experience with Terraform
  • 3+ years of DevOps/pipeline automation experience
  • Experience in managing configuration, build, and deployments for enterprise software solutions
  • Understanding of Linux/Windows technologies
  • Working knowledge of Source Code Control Systems (Git)
  • Working knowledge of network fundamentals and APIs
  • Experience in working in an Agile/Scrum development environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • English level — Upper-Intermediate or higher
