Senior Test Automation Engineer (вакансія неактивна)

We’re opening the position of Senior Test Automation Engineer for our customer’s new team to develop SaaS solutions that help companies optimizing their businesses. These solutions include business planning & execution, process automation, and optimization. The customer’s platform leverages industry-leading ML and AI for better predictions and prevention of disruptions across businesses.

The project is focused on core services for electronic data interchange that are used by other applications.

Responsibilities:

• Communicate with the developers, DevOps, PMs on the team, and client-side
• Design, develop, and document test automation frameworks using Cucumber, and Kotlin
• Write automated test cases to ensure that all aspects of the product are tested thoroughly
• Maintain and update test scripts as per changes in functionality
• Execute automated tests, analyze the results, identify defects, and report them to the team
• Document test planning and execution, and summarised test results; track defects
• Continuously research new testing tools and methods to improve the quality assurance process
• Collaborate with a team working in an Agile manner emphasizing quality
• Participate in team activities such as backlog grooming, planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives

Requirements:

• 4+ years in software testing, and at least 3 years in test automation
• Proven test automation skills along with test cases, creating reusable automated test scripts
• Proficiency in Cucumber and Kotlin for writing test automation scripts
• Experience with CI/CD processes and tools
• Ability to troubleshoot complex software/quality issues and find the root cause and effect solutions
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with the development team effectively and with stakeholders
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
• English level — Upper-Intermediate and higher

Will be a plus:

• Familiarity with other testing tools and technologies
• Certifications like ISTQB
