We are opening a position for Middle Power BI Developer to join the existing team of our customer, who has nearly 40 years develops technology solutions that redefine the point of sale to bring technological innovation to all aspects of the business. Our customer is a leading global provider of software, systems, and service solutions to the retail industries and restaurants. We are looking for a candidate in our team with the ability to build reports in the PowerBI tool, and create interactive Power BI dashboards, visualizations, and reports that provide actionable analytics and answer business challenges.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs for self-service reporting solutions
• Design, develop, deploy, and maintain high-quality Microsoft Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations based on discovered requirements
• Design and execute changes to data models, stored procedures, functions, and views with input from our data architect and product owners
• Own the repository of Power BI datasets and reports and make sure they’re easy and intuitive for people to understand and work with
• Make changes to ETL/ELT code in TimeXtender and Azure Synapse
• Participate in daily Agile events
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define the attributes of key business data and develop and maintain reports to support viewing the data in simple, intuitive visuals
• Ensure the data dictionary terms are preserved across all production reports
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical data requirements
• Create and maintain logical and data models to support long-term solutions for the business areas and systems
• Release of enterprise data warehouse code

Requirements:

• 3+ years of MS SQL experience working with T-SQL, SQL Server Analysis Services, large data sets from multiple sources, relational databases, and data warehouses
• 3+ years of experience with PowerBI
• Experience with TimeXtender
• Azure Logic Apps and Functions
• Azure Data Factory/Synapse with a production environment
• MS SQL 2017, 2019 and Azure SQL knowledge (SQL Queries, Stored Procedures, functions), Tabular and Cube Models (SSAS), SISS
• ETL/ELT Engineering via programing language (C#, SQL, etc.)
• Excel analytics (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, array formulas, power queries, slices, interactive charts, etc.)
• Hands-on experience in developing visual reports, dashboards, and KPI scorecards using Power BI desktop and DAX queries
• Microsoft Azure Cloud data engineering (or equivalent)
• Proficiency with agile software development methodology
• English level — Upper-Intermediate and higher

• MS SQL Certifications
