We are opening a position for a Data Analyst to join the existing team of our customer, who has nearly 40 years develops technology solutions that redefine the point of sale to bring technological innovation to all aspects of the business. Our customer is a leading global provider of software, systems, and service solutions to the retail industries and restaurants. We are looking for a candidate who can engage with strategic delivery teams to understand their data and reporting needs and gather conceptual and business insight requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Gather conceptual and business insight requirements
• Work closely in partnership with Enterprise Architecture, Business Intelligence, Business Enablement, and Product teams to leverage and access available data architecture
• Perform all data preparation and exploratory data analysis steps
• Manage and execute all aspects of analytic initiatives, including developing project plans and collaborating with others

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience as a Data Analyst
• 1-2+ years of experience with data visualization products (PowerBI, Tableau, etc.), big data platforms, SQL Server, basic Azure services (i.e. Synapse, Functions, Data Factories, Pipelines)
• Knowledge of data analysis fundamentals with hands-on experience in data/BI analysis for cloud data platforms and experience building predictive analytical models (statistical/classic approach or ML) that inform business decisions
• Solid experience with Data Governance concepts and execution
• Experience in analyzing and building secure, scalable, and flexible enterprise data projects using Azure
• Familiarity designing data structures and models for a microservices environment, data lake, and cloud data warehouses and supporting downstream applications based on PowerBI and ML models
• Comfortable working within a scaled Agile program and collaborating with product managers in creating and managing the technical backlogs of stories and epics
• English level — Upper-Intermediate and higher
