Edvantis is looking for a C++/C# Developer for our US-based client`s project. The customer develops software for businesses to help manage their networks, systems, and information technology infrastructure. They have various monitoring modules, network equipment, and applications (switches, servers, disk systems, firewalls, etc.). Our module — EOC — allows you to display, aggregate (consolidate) information from different modules and display it in one place. There is an opportunity for candidates to work with many various technologies and to develop/maintain SW which has been used by thousands and thousands of customers worldwide.
Responsibilities:
- Designing and implementation of products using C++ and .NET framework
- Developing new features
- Maintain code improving runtime behavior and solving product issues
- Development of various product aspects (business logic, database, integrations)
- Improving build infrastructure, fixing bugs, or maintaining automation
- Risk assessment, defining dependencies and assumptions
- Estimation and scope decomposition
- Resolving complex technical issues with simple and elegant solutions
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience as a C++ Developer
- Experience with C++(14/17) and C#
- Good knowledge of Make/Makefiles
- At least basic programming experience on UN*X platforms
- Experience with unit testing and automation
- English level — Upper-Intermediate or higher
- Pro-activity and ability to tirelessly ask questions (especially during onboarding period)
- Efficient communication skills and ability to clarify things
- Willingness to switch between different technologies (e.g. C++ vs. C#, Windows vs. UN*X) from time to time
Will be a plus:
- Experience with CMake and development on AIX
- Basic knowledge of Python
- Advanced troubleshooting skills in networking
