Responsibilities

• Provide support and maintenance for existing VBA macro files used to load time data inputs into SAP.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data loading processes, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
• Collaborate with end-users to gather requirements and implement enhancements to existing macros and tools.
• Develop new features for custom Excel-based tools, including input data checks and automated data transfer to SAP.
• Improve the efficiency and performance of macros and tools, optimizing them for faster data processing.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging of VBA code to ensure reliable performance and seamless integration with SAP.
• Collaborate with the SAP team for data transfer and retrieval processes (RFC connection setup is out of scope).
• Document macro functionalities, processes, and troubleshooting steps for future reference.

Requirements

• Strong experience in VBA development, particularly in Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of SAP systems and data loading processes is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and debugging VBA code.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Experience in enhancing Excel-based tools with new features and automation.
• Familiarity with input data checks, automated data transfer, and SAP data retrieval (RFC connection setup is a plus).
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with end-users, stakeholders, and the SAP team.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Experience in documenting technical specifications and procedures.
