Tech Interviewer (PHP)

We are looking for Technical Interviewers specialized in PHP to evaluate candidates’ skills and their seniority level. If you have experience conducting technical interviews and enjoy this process — apply now.

Requirements

• Experience in conducting interviews and technical evaluations of other programmers.
• Ability to provide structured and concise written feedback in English after an interview.
• Decent experience with PHP modern versions, including popular frameworks like Laravel or Symfony.
• Solid knowledge of relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Experience working with Docker and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP or Azure).
• Experience using Git at work and understanding its nuances.

Responsibilities

• Provide access to your calendar and available time slots for booking online meetings. We are flexible and happy to adapt to your schedule.
• Along with each booking to your calendar, you will receive a job description/requirements and the candidate’s CV, which you will need to skim through.
• Conduct 45-min technical validation interviews either in English, or Ukrainian, covering various skills and experience levels, using Zoom or Google Meet.
• Send an email with written feedback in English within 24 hours after an interview. The feedback format is not strictly defined and up to you. Usually takes 15 minutes.

Nice to have
Strong soft skills, a friendly attitude and the ability to build rapport.

Working conditions

• This is a freelance/part-time opportunity with hourly-based payment.
• There is no stable flow of interviews each week. Sometimes there may be none, while other weeks may have 5-7 interviews.
• We pay you within 24 hours after receiving your email with the written feedback.
• You will receive approximately $40 per 1 interview.
