The customer is a Fintech company providing innovative insurance products and financial solutions for residential and commercial real estate professionals as well as their residents and tenants. With a focus on data and industry expertise in real estate, risk, and finance, the company optimizes the relationship between landlords, leasing staff, brokers, and tenants by taking risk out of the leasing process and making it more efficient at the same time.

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • 5+ years of relevant production work experience in managing cloud infrastructure workloads and environments
  • History of driving optimizations and improvements to engineering productivity and experience
  • Infrastructure as code and DRY principles
  • Strong networking knowledge
  • Prefer using the linux command line and associated tools
  • Able to diagnose technical problems, debug code, and automate routine tasks
  • Good experience and knowledge in building large scale distributed systems, infrastructure and internal tooling
  • Experience with Kubernetes
  • BS/MS in Computer Science/Engineering, MIS or proof of exceptional skills in related fields, with practical infrastructure engineering experience
  • English Upper-Intermediate

  • AWS Certification

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work on automating operations and configuration
  • Engineer reliability and performance into product and services
  • Manage and secure cloud-based infrastructure
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose and fix issues in a distributed, containerized application environment
  • Improve existing infrastructure, replacing existing systems with new implementations/designs when appropriate
  • Evolve systems to handle new demands and scaleInvestigate problems and discover the right tools to solve them
  • Incident response (on-call) and root cause analysis

WORK SCHEDULE

At least 4 overlapping hours to the following working hours and time zone: Mon — Fri 9am — 5pm ET.
