Dish intends to develop Android TV based set top box which includes Live TV/DVR/VOD/EPG and the most popular services such as YouTube, Netflix etc.
Job Requirements
Required:
- Experience 4+ years;
- Java /Kotlin for mobile development.
- Experience with system app development.
- Experience with SQLite and Android Room.
- Android IPC and components.
- Experience with building and customizing AOSP.
- Experience in developing projects with microservices architecture.
- Git (Unix shell, diff/patch, Android SDK tools)
- English is upper-intermediate or above
Nice to have:
- Gradle configuration.
- Experience with video streaming and players on Android
- Experience with working over Agile workflow.
- acquaintance with DVB.
- Jira/Confluence.
Would be a plus:
- C/C++ / Qt/C++/Qml.
- JNI.
- GNU Makefile.
- Jenkins.
- Docker.
