We are looking for a Lead Artist to lead and motivate a team of talented 2D & 3D Artists in delivering immersive worlds and AAA quality assets. This position entails a great deal of responsibility and opportunity to develop and elaborate distinctive artstyle, develop an art guide and drive further the development of a strong team and for which your artistic, technical, and managerial expertise is of great importance.
As a Lead Artist, your job is to plan, organize, follow-up, and evaluate their work in order to ensure that they meet the production objectives in terms of time and quality. And at the very start of your journey, you’ll have to get your own hands dirty to set the standard of artistic quality and productive culture in a team. — 3+ years of game industry experience;
— 2+ years of experience as an Art Lead in the game industry;
— At least one PC or Console game shipped as an Art Lead;
— Strong game culture
— Strong experience in team leadership and management
— Excellent knowledge in Photoshop or other equivalent packages
— Good knowledge of 3D software (3DS Max, Zbrush, etc.)
— Good knowledge of game engines
— Strong artistic skills
— Excellent communication skills and teamwork-oriented attitude
— Problem-solving attitude
— Able to drive change and inspire others to generate new ideas
Would be a strong plus:
— Previous experience shipping first or third-person action shooter game as Art Lead
— A passion for playing and developing exceptional games
