ABOUT THE PROJECT:
We are developing next-generation autonomy systems used by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. If you’re passionate about embedded systems and aerospace-grade innovation, this is your chance to work on something truly impactful.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design, develop, and optimize embedded software for flight control, navigation, and mission execution
- Integrate sensor data (GNSS, IMU, visual, etc.) for robust real-time decision making
- Collaborate closely with the hardware and avionics teams to ensure seamless integration between software and electronics
- Implement safety-critical logic, fail-safes, and redundancy protocols
- Conduct simulations, HIL testing, and in-field debugging of flight software
- Optimize performance for constrained environments (limited power, compute, memory)
- Participate in system architecture discussions and contribute to future design iterations
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3+ years of commercial software development experience
- Strong proficiency in C++ and Python
- Ability to quickly adapt to new embedded platforms, development tools, theoretical concepts, and algorithmic approaches
- Experience in building embedded Linux systems (Yocto, systemd, U-Boot, OTA updates, kernel)
- Experience with low-level communication protocols (SPI, I2C, UART, CAN)
- Intermediate or higher level of English, both written and spoken
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Understanding of Raspberry Pi/NVIDIA Jetson/Radxa/OrangePI (Edge device) platforms
- Experience with the Linux graphics stack (DRM, V4L2, EGL, OpenGL ES)
- Experience with video streaming and video processing (GStreamer, H.264/265, RTP)
- Experience with UAV systems (ArduPilot/PX4/BetaFlight, MSP/MAVLink protocols) and knowledge of control theory
- Military or aerospace project experience is a plus
