General QA Engineer (вакансія неактивна)

About Us:
Finhost is a fintech product company that helps businesses launch their own neobanks, payment services, and financial solutions using our ready-to-use platform. To support our rapid growth, we are seeking an experienced QA Engineer based in Ukraine to join and strengthen our core development team.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, run, and troubleshoot automated tests for our web and mobile applications to ensure smooth operation.
• Integrate automated tests into our CI/CD pipeline to provide fast, reliable feedback on every build.
• Maintain and scale our automated testing frameworks and infrastructure to ensure long-term stability.
• Engage early in the development lifecycle to define requirements, proactively identify tricky edge cases, and prevent issues before release.
• Continuously seek opportunities to enhance our QA processes and elevate company-wide quality standards.
• Contribute to the overall quality strategy by determining optimal approaches for test automation, manual testing, and specialized testing (e.g., performance or security).
• Actively participate in Scrum team activities, including sprint planning, estimations, and retrospectives, ensuring quality remains a top priority.

Required skills:

• 5+ years of experience in automation testing.
• Solid experience with Playwright.
• 2+ years of experience in automation testing using TypeScript.
• Experience with E2E testing in complex environments.
• Upper-Intermediate+ English.
• Proven ability to work independently, proactively advocating for and driving quality improvements across the team and product.

Big plus:

Previous experience in Fintech project(s) is a significant advantage.
