We are looking for a Junior QA Engineer to join our team, learn fast, start helping us deliver even more reliable products and enjoy collaborating with our dedicated experts.
The requirements for this position are:
- Solid spoken and written English (upper-intermediate or higher)
- 6+ months of experience in commercial testing (web or mobile)
- Experience with issue tracking tools (Trello, Jira, etc.)
- Understanding of software development life cycle
- High level of responsibility and problem ownership
- Good communication and collaboration skills
- Strong logical and analytical thinking
- Proactive thinking
- Desire to develop basic PM skills
What makes you an even more attractive candidate for us:
- Other experience in software development (customer support, coding, etc.)
- A degree in computer science, math or other technical domain
- ISTQB or other widely recognized certification
- Experience in team leading
- Understanding of Scrum framework
- Experience working in distributed teams
- Experience presenting work results to clients, stakeholders, colleagues
Main responsibilities:
- Analyze requirements
- Create and maintain test documentation (check lists, test plans, test cases)
- Perform functional and UI/UX testing of web and mobile applications
- Participate in regular meetings with the team and client
- Report your progress to the team and client on a regular basis
- Keep the issues assigned to you up to date
- Keep on developing your hard and soft skills
Additional responsibilities:
- Provide estimates for QA activities on demand
- Develop basic PM skills
- For the projects you test, assist the PM upon request
