We are looking for a skilled SOC Analyst (Tier 2) to join our Managed SOC team. This role goes beyond traditional monitoring: in addition to overseeing our IBM QRadar SIEM environment across multiple clients, you will proactively work with client environments to mitigate threats, apply agreed security measures, and strengthen their security posture.
The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments, has hands-on experience with SOC operations, and is eager to work closely with both technology and people to keep our clients secure.
Location: Valencia, Spain, office
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze QRadar dashboards and alerts across multiple client environments.
- Identify, investigate, and escalate potential security incidents according to defined playbooks.
- Perform triage and maintain accurate security event logs.
- Proactively engage with client solutions to mitigate risks and implement agreed-upon controls.
- Collaborate with vCISOs and senior analysts to ensure smooth incident response and client communication.
- Provide support engineering for client security infrastructure, including Jamf, Palo Alto (PAB, GP), AWS, Azure, Okta, and Cloudflare.
- Assist with deployment and maintenance of endpoint, network, and cloud security tools.
- Contribute to documentation of incidents, processes, and response playbooks.
- Support continuous improvement of Managed SOC service delivery
Requirements:
- Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles, SOC operations, and SIEM monitoring (QRadar experience preferred).
- Familiarity with enterprise IT and security tools: firewalls, identity platforms, cloud security, and endpoint management.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with close attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with clients and internal teams.
- Willingness to grow into advanced SOC responsibilities and support proactive security engineering.
