Digis is seeking a Senior Data Engineer with extensive experience in the AWS ecosystem to join our remote team.
About the project:
The Project predicts customer behaviour using artificial intelligence (AI), and prides itself in helping their clients out-predict their competition in order to maximise efficiency and customer satisfaction.
The core strength of Project’s technology lies in its ability to match people with products, match inventory with business opportunities, match prices with spending propensity and match people with usage patterns, with the use of deep learning algorithms.
Project stage: New project — starting in August 2025
Data stack: Spark/PySpark, Pandas, AWS Glue, AWS EMR, Athena, Trino, S3
Project advantages:

Responsibilities:
- Optimize large-scale Athena queries
- Build ETL pipelines with AWS Glue and PySpark
- Clean and normalize insurance user data
- Occasionally contribute to Python-based backend endpoints
Requirements:
— 5+ years as a Data Engineer
— Particularly experience with PySpark, Pandas & AWS
— B2+ level of English
