Senior Azure DevOps Engineer

Digis is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer with expertise in Azure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud services, automation, and ensuring the security of virtual networks where both public and private services can reside.

About the project:
This is a live entertainment platform that’s making it easier for fans to purchase tickets to live matches and events. They are delivering a seamless experience so the only thing fans need to worry about is enjoying their live event.

• Project country and TimeZone: Spain/UK, work in UK time zone, flexible schedule
• Age and stage of the project: about 18 years, at the stage of active development
• The team: CTO, Head of Engineering, 2 PMs; 5 BE Engineers (2 from Digis), 5 FE Engineers (2 from Digis), UI/UX Designer (from Digis), 2 AQA engineers (1 from Digis)

The Role and Responsibilities:

• The main task is to take the existing infrastructure and upgrade it to make it more scalable and secure.
• We’re looking for someone with experience working with products that have grown rapidly.
• Implementation of monitoring and alert systems (Datadog).
• In terms of technologies, the focus is on Cloud Kubernetes and Microsoft Azure; half of the platform runs on virtual machines.
• Experience in cloud networking and incident response is also crucial.
• The DevOps will be integrated into the team and will participate in facilitating the team (CI/CD, development environments) + will have his own tasks (setting up monitoring + enhancing platform security).

Must have:

• 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer
• 3+ years experience with Azure
• Experience with Kubernetes/Azure Kubernetes Service, Terraform
• Experience in setting up virtual networks where public and private apps/APIs can reside securely
• At least B1 level of spoken English
