Devoted Studios is a production management company for the external development of video games headquartered in the USA. We partner with external vendors to deliver the best services to our international clients. We are looking for a Project Manager with work experience in the video games industry to support company activity.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Resources hiring/performance review
• Responsible for product roadmap
• Update stakeholders weekly on project health and roadblocks
• Adherence to platform roadmap
• Product roadmap is up to date
• Holding the team accountable for deadlines, ensuring deadlines are met
• Accurate time tracking. Feature time and budget planning, ensure
• Ensuring all the design is ready for development when dev tasks are due to kick off
• Ensure there is adequate time for testing and integration
• Hold product accountable for accurate and prioritized backlog

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

• Experience: You have 3+ years of software management experience as a Project Manager.
• Excellent Communication: You’re Fluent in English (C2). You love to communicate and know what a vital role it plays in building a successful project. You’re eager to share your thoughts in both written and verbal form. You engage constructively in discussions with your team and stakeholders.
  
  
• Managing the production of Marketplaces, and SaaS solutions including releasing them on the market and post-release support.
  
  
• Understanding that the role is to hire and support a team of professionals, that innovate and build the product while focusing on making sure we have a healthy balance of RnD and meeting the deadlines and budget we have committed.
  
  
• Focus on building a product as a business, not as an endless development.
  
  
• Utilizing the OKR framework.
  
  
• Budgeting, planning, hiring.
  
  
• Web Production Pipelines (deep knowledge of development process, pipelines, general understanding of technologies and frameworks).
  
  
• Project Management (knowledge & experience with scrum, managements of internal and external teams).
  
  
• Jira Guru: Creating dashboards, Kanban boards, Scrum Boards, Sprint planning, Roadmaps, set filters, set Jira Gadgets, understanding of capacity/velocity / Sprint Reports in Jira
  
  
  It will be a plus if you have:
  
• Game Production Pipelines (knowledge of Art Production Pipelines: 2D, 3D, Animation / VFX) is a plus
  
  
• Basic Game Development Knowledge (Game Engines / Approach to Development Planning and Project Management) is a plus"
