About the role:
As a Lead of the iOS Department, you will drive the strategic direction of iOS development within the company. You will be responsible for shaping and evolving the technical expertise of the iOS team, defining development standards, and ensuring best practices are followed across all projects. Your role involves technical leadership, mentoring, hiring, architectural decision-making, and direct collaboration with stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of mobile solutions.

Your future responsibilities:

• Implement and promote the best development practices and standards.
• Develop and enforce internal technical standards.
• Define the long-term technical strategy for mobile development.
• Hire, onboard, and mentor team members, conduct performance evaluations.
• Write, review, and validate code while conducting code reviews for the team.
• Participate in the design and planning of new features and system improvements.
• Engage in the Discovery phase, collaborating with clients to understand their requirements and expectations.
• Contribute to pre-sale activities.
• Collaborate with the backend team to define API requirements.
• Set up and maintain repositories following company standards.
• Define and implement architecture solutions (MVVM, VIPER, Clean Architecture).
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement and oversee automated testing (Unit Tests).
• Discuss requirements, assess technical feasibility, risks, and opportunities.
• Address critical client concerns or technical issues with high priority.
• Participate in retrospective meetings at the end of development phases.

Your professional qualities:

• 6+ years of experience in iOS development, including leading teams.
• Strong expertise in Swift and iOS architecture patterns (MVVM, MVC, Viper).
• Deep understanding of memory management, performance optimization, and debugging tools.
• Experience with UIKit, SwiftUI, Combine, and concurrency.
• Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, networking, and security best practices.
• Expertise in CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and deployment automation.
• Experience with App Store submission processes and compliance requirements.
• Strong mentoring and leadership skills, with experience managing and scaling iOS teams.
• Experience working with Agile methodologies and cross-functional teams.
• Ability to define and implement long-term technical strategies.
• At least an Intermediate + level of English.
