C# Developer (focus on building EDI solutions)

We are looking for a highly qualified and motivated individual to join us as an EDI Developer.

About the project :

Web application which connects various integrated ecommerce platforms like Shopify, WooCommerce, etc. and carrier services integrations into a one platform. The main functionalities are: order management, inventory/stock management

Requirements:

• Solid experience in C# development, with a focus on building EDI solutions.
• Proficiency in EDI standards and protocols, such as ANSI X12, EDIFACT, AS2, and FTP.
• Knowledge of EDI document types and transactions, including purchase orders, invoices, and advanced shipping notices (ASNs).
• Experience with EDI mapping and translation tools, such as IBM Sterling Integrator, Gentran, or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of data transformation and manipulation techniques.
• Familiarity with XML, JSON, and other data formats commonly used in EDI.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• English — intermediate or higher.

Will be a plus:

• Experience with C# in an EDI context.
• Knowledge of database technologies such as SQL Server or Oracle.
• Familiarity with supply chain management and logistics processes.
• Understanding of healthcare EDI standards such as HL7 or HIPAA is an advantage.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain EDI solutions using industry-standard protocols and formats.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define EDI integration specifications.
• Develop and implement mappings, transformations, and workflows for EDI transactions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to EDI data transmissions and processing.
• Perform testing and validation of EDI transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Collaborate with external trading partners to onboard and integrate EDI processes.
• Monitor EDI systems and processes, identifying and addressing performance bottlenecks and errors.
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in EDI technology.
