What are we doing?
Develux is an IT consulting and software development company with products for the US market and outsourcing services worldwide. The company has been on the market since 2014 and has achieved perfect results in our four business units. We have 350+ goal-oriented, passionate specialists who are open to new challenges.

How old is the project? What stage is it at?
It will be a new business unit from scratch.

What do you need to do?
As the Head of a Startup Incubator or Startup Foundation, you will be responsible for overseeing the strategic planning, operations, and growth of the startup incubator or startup foundation. You will play a crucial role in supporting and nurturing early-stage startups and fostering an environment conducive to innovation and entrepreneurship.

What else?
— Develop and execute the strategic vision and goals for the startup incubator or startup foundation, in alignment with the company’s objectives.
— Identify and source promising startup companies for incubation or support through partnerships, scouting activities, and networking within the startup ecosystem.
— Provide mentorship, guidance, and support to startup founders, offering expertise in areas such as business development, fundraising, marketing, and product development.
— Developing of startup lifecycle with budgeting, funding, goals, and roadmap validation at each stage to minimize risks, and financial losses and improve the overall startup success rate.
— Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate access to resources, networks, and opportunities that can accelerate the growth of startups within the incubator or foundation.
— Organize and coordinate educational programs, workshops, and events to foster the development of entrepreneurial skills and promote knowledge sharing among startups.
— Build and maintain relationships with investors, venture capitalists, and industry experts to facilitate funding opportunities for startups and promote the overall success of the incubator or foundation.
— Develop and manage the budget for the startup incubator or startup foundation, ensuring financial sustainability and effective resource allocation.
— Track and evaluate the progress and impact of supported startups, collecting and analyzing relevant data to inform decision-making and continuous improvement.
— Stay abreast of the latest trends, technologies, and developments in the startup ecosystem, and proactively identify opportunities for collaboration or innovation.

What professional skills are essential to us?
— Hands-on experience as Senior manager (C-level) managing scalable and large teams (4+ years experience).
— Proven experience in startup incubation, entrepreneurship, venture capital, or a related field, with a track record of success in supporting and scaling early-stage companies.
— Strong knowledge of the startup ecosystem, including key players, funding models, and industry trends.
— Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate startup founders and create a collaborative and supportive environment.
— Demonstrated business acumen, including experience in strategic planning, budget management, and operational oversight.
— Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders, including entrepreneurs, investors, and industry professionals.
— Proven ability to build and maintain relationships, leverage networks, and establish partnerships to benefit startups and the incubator or foundation.
— Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address challenges faced by startups and develop effective solutions.
— Passion for entrepreneurship, innovation, and making a positive impact in the startup ecosystem.
— English: upper-intermediate or higher

— Does the job come with a probation period, and if so, how long does it last?
Yes, there is a three-month probation period.

— What is the expected work schedule?
Full-time, flexible, please start no later than 11:00 (on average 8 hours per day). The office in Kyiv is open from 9:00 to 20:00. You can work remotely and also you can choose hybrid mode where you can combine working on-site and remotely.

— How many vacation and sick days are provided?
Annual paid vacation — 21 working days; Paid confirmed sick leave; 6 unconfirmed sick days/days off a year.
