The Skyvia team is looking for a Marketplace Operations Manager to oversee the placement of Skyvia products on our technology partners’ marketplaces and manage activities to promote the products on these platforms.
Skyvia is a no-code cloud platform offering universal data integration, backup, management, and connectivity solutions. With support for 80 connectors, including popular cloud apps such as CRMs, marketing tools, support systems, management software, databases, and data warehouses, Skyvia caters to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Responsibilities
- Conduct negotiations and conclude partnership agreements with technological partners
- Prepare content and post it on partner platforms (marketplace/listing)
- Maintain up-to-date information about all current listings and descriptions when new connectors or functionality are released
- Obtain all the test accounts and accesses necessary for the product team to develop new connectors and maintain the functionality of current ones
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to create compelling product descriptions
- Collaborate with the Product team to create descriptive release notes for new products
- Communicate with the Lead Partnership Manager and Product Team to plan and coordinate marketplace strategies and placement details
- Cooperate with the PMM and Copywriter to create unique product descriptions
- Maintain marketplace placement status records using Confluence
- Keep track of daily tasks in Jira
Requirements
- Experience in an IT company or startup
- 1+ year(s) of experience as a Marketing Manager
- Upper Intermediate English level or higher
- Strong understanding of the English language editing principles and information style
- Proficiency in creating effective headlines, naming, and crafting compelling calls to action (CTAs)
- Proficiency in text formatting and styling
- Experience with specialized software (Grammarly, Qualaroo, GPT Chat, etc.)
- Familiarity with the intricacies of online platforms used for placing IT products
- Skills in Community Management
- Familiarity with the fundamentals of Internet Marketing Management
- Proficiency in managing online resources, forums, account administrator panels for catalogs, marketplaces, and websites
- A basic understanding of technical product development concepts and features
