We invite a skilled Software Engineer to join our rock-star team and work on ACE — a product that allows 70,000 end users to quickly validate their marketing, provides social reputation and customer demographics. Our end-client’s customer base includes over 2.5 million merchant locations spread across 30+ countries. What’s in it for you:

Qualifications and experience:

• 4 years’ experience in software development
• Experience with Python or Scala for the ETL flow
• Experience with at least one of the following technologies: Apache Airflow/Apache Spark/Apache Flink/Apache Kafka or other similar Big Data technologies
• Experience with Сloud service providers
• Knowledge in data modeling with RDMS (PostgreSQL) and/or NoSQL (MongoDB or similar)
• Experience with unit testing (Pytest)
• Intermediate+ English

Nice to have:

• Bachelor or higher degree in Computer Science or Engineering related major
• Experience with Kubernetes or other container orchestration systems
• Experience with Linux operating systems

Key responsibilities:

• Develop batch jobs to process big amount of data
• Create and evaluate automated big data processing systems
• Implement optimized data structures and BI solutions
• Develop software documentation for implementation (e.g. UML)
• Promote and enforce best practice in development and operations
• Identify opportunities and weaknesses in the platform architecture
• Proactively obtain and clarify requirements as necessary
• Work in close collaboration with internal and client teams
• Work with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment
