We invite a Software Engineer to join our team and participate in developing a secure digital asset platform for trading Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, and other digital currencies. You will be responsible for supporting and evolving a set of microservices for a mission-critical product that serves thousands of users every day. What’s in it for you:

• Work with a diverse tech stack (React, Typescript, Postgres)
• Gain experience working on a service that has thousands of users and transactions daily, dealing with people’s money
• Work directly with the team of Engineers, DevOps and Product Managers located in Canada

Qualifications and experience:

• 3+ years’ experience in software development
• 2+ years’ hands-on experience in building/supporting systems written on React,Typescript
• Practical experience in delivering applications to Production and further support
• Ability to quickly diagnose, pinpoint and solve issues on production environment
• Strong understanding of code best practice (Code Complete, SICP)
• Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3 (Flexbox, Grids, JSS)
• Clear understanding of base patterns FP (function composition), OOP (OOD), and SOLID
• An understanding of Redux/Flux patterns and SPA’s state control management
• Experience with RESTful API, GraphQL (Apollo), CI/CD, Git
• Experience with Scrum/Kanban Agile frameworks
• Intermediate+ English, both spoken and written

Nice to have:

• Experience with fintech projects

Key responsibilities:

• Maintain, support, and evolve a production system
• Automate business processes acting as a Software Engineer (React, Typescript, Postgres)
• Collaborate with Product Managers, engineers and DevOps teams, ensuring system reliability, and sustainability
• Work in an agile environment with iterative development and fast feedback
• Perform integration with the existing APIs (GraphQL, REST)
