DevCom is looking for a Trainee QA!
If you have a solid theoretical foundation in manual and mobile testing and a strong desire to learn, we invite you to join our Student Program, where you can gain hands-on experience, improve your skills, and grow in a professional environment.

The benefits of our student program:

— Personal mentor for each student
— 100% employment in case of successful completion of the student program
— Student program for three months. In this period, the stipend will be paid ($300 gross per month)

Work mode: While we prefer candidates based in Lviv who can visit the office, we are also open to applicants from other parts of Ukraine or Europe.

About projects (after the technical interview, we’ll be able to determine which of these projects best aligns with your skills and experience) :
1.) Country: Scotland
Industry: Information Technology / Healthcare / Emergency Services
Project specifics:Treatment and prevention of psychological trauma arising from the professional activities of emergency service workers.
The project includes mobile application testing

2.) Country: Australia
Industry: Social networking / Travel and lifestyle discovery
Project specifics: Trust-based social recommendation platform for places and experiences. A rex is a user-created post about a place. Multiple rexes can belong to the same place. The platform focuses on discovering places through trusted people rather than anonymous reviews. Digital consumer platforms focused on social discovery and recommendation sharing
The project includes Mobile app (iOS Android) mobile Web. Web, and Admin Pannel — web

Required Skills:

• Completed thorough testing courses are a mandatory requirement
• English — Intermediate plus / Upper — Intermediate and higher (written and spoken)
• Basic understanding of software testing theory
• Understanding of mobile application testing
• Basic understanding of the software development process
• Familiar with the design and development of test documentation (test case, bug report, checklist)
• Familiar with SDLC/STLC
• Basic knowledge of HTML
• Good knowledge of Database (be able to write database queries to verify data as part of testing)
• Basic understanding of Agile/Scrum
• Ability to analyze and structure information
• Excellent attention to detail
• The ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
• A logical, curious, and analytical mindset with a desire to interrogate data
• Excellent presentation and communication skills

Nice to have:

• Final year student or young specialist in the STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics)
• Familiar with API testing (Postman/Swagger)
• Being familiar with Jira will be a plus
• Basic understanding of the client-server application architecture
• Basic understanding of LLMs (ChatGPT etc.) and prompt engineering
• Pet projects or practical testing experience
