Product Data Editor

We’re expanding our team and looking for a Product Data Editor! This role is perfect for people with strong English skills, who are attentive, focused, and detail-oriented. Join our US-based e-commerce marketplace specializing in airguns, sports, and outdoor/touristic goods.

Location: Ukraine, Europe

Format: Part-time contractor or part-time employee — depending on the interview results. Minimum workload — 4 hours per day.

Role duration: from 6 months, most likely 12 months, with a possibility of extension.

Experience: 0+ years, no IT background required

About the role:

Receive a list of products (name + code) and enrich products description and specification in the database using online datasources (in English).

Ensure accuracy and completeness of product data, readiness for online publishing on the eCommerce platform.

Occasionally communicate with the US client and a multinational team.

Required skills:

• English — Advanced (C1) or better — written, spoken, listening
• Good PC and office programs knowledge, searching in the Internet (googling)
• Accuracy and attention to details
• Readiness to communicate with the US client and multinational team in different countries
• Good communication and teamwork skills

Nice-to-have skills (not required):

• ChatGPT prompting
• Understanding of and interest in weapons (airguns, knives, arbalets, bows, etc) and sports and outdoors/touristics goods.
• Basic understanding of HTML
• Readiness to move to some non-technical position in the future (QA, Tech Writer, BA, etc)

Compensation:

We start with an hourly rate of $4/hour.

If the workload is stable (50% or more), after the probation period we can discuss switching to a fixed rate based on mutual agreement.
