We’re looking for a skilled Full-Stack Developer (Python + Next.js) with strong technical expertise and excellent English communication skills.

You’ll be part of a team working on a global insurtech project that leverages AI-driven analytics to help insurers make faster, smarter, and fairer decisions.

Work mode: full-time employee.
We are open to considering candidates for remote collaboration who are currently based in Europe, including those from Ukraine.

Important note about working hours:

Our client is based in the San Francisco Bay Area (UTC—07:00, Pacific Time).
To ensure effective communication and collaboration, we expect at least 2–3 hours of daily overlap with the client’s working hours — the more, the better.

For candidates based in Ukraine, the expected working schedule is from 12:00 to 21:00 or 13:00 to 22:00 (EEST), with some flexibility depending on your preferences.

We’re flexible as long as there’s sufficient overlap with the client’s team.

About project:

The client is an insurtech company helping insurers make faster, smarter, and fairer decisions across the entire insurance lifecycle. Its AI-powered decision engine transforms raw, fragmented data into actionable insights — enabling insurers to respond quickly, reduce costly errors, and serve policyholders with confidence.

Industry: Automotive (US and UK base company).
Current team: You’ll work with CTO/small dev team on client side.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • English proficiency of at least B2 (direct work with CTO/small dev team on client side)
  • 5+ years of experience in software development.
  • 4+ years of commercial experience with Python.
  • Experience with FastAPI and pytest.
  • 2+ years of commercial experience with Next.js.
  • Solid understanding of RESTful API development and integration.
  • Expertise in relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL(schema design, query optimization).
  • Proven experience with AWS services and infrastructure (EC2, Lambda, RDS, S3, IAM, etc.).
  • Comfortable with version control tools like Git, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker).
  • Strong proficiency in cloud-native or microservices architecture.

Optional skills:

  • Artificial Intelligence — AI Agents, Embeddings, automation platforms (n8n/make.com).
  • Solid experience in AI Prompt Engineering.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative, agile environment.
  • Readiness to learn another technology.
