Responsibilities
- Linux kernel modules develop (mainly SFP /Ethernet / chip support related)
- Adopting existing modules code to new kernel versions
- BSP support
- New devices bringup / adopting existing code for new devices
Skills
- At least three years of experience with Linux kernel development
- Excellent C/C++ development skills
- Experience developing BSP on at least one product / PCB
- Experience with Linux driver development and customization
- Experience with upstreaming / sending patches to mainline
Nice to have
- Experience with IEEE 1588 (Precision Time Protocol), SyncE, and other time-synchronization protocols
- Experience bringing up networking equipment: PHYs, SerDes configurations, MAC configurations, SFF/SFP integration
- Experience with DPDK and userspace packet processing
