Java Tech Lead

Delasport is an iGaming Software company providing Sports Betting & Online Casino software, and turnkey B2B solutions. Established in 2010, Delasport delivers a one-stop-shop solution of Sports Betting and Online Casino from a White-Label, with a full range of management services to a Plug&Play iFrame and a complete Turnkey. We are establishing an R&D centre in Kyiv, and are looking for top talents to join our team.

PLANNED TECHNOLOGY STACK
Microservice architecture, Java 17, Spring Boot 3, Kafka, Google Cloud, Kubernetes

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Analyze product requirements
• Work with the solution architect/VP of R&D to design technical solutions, contribute to the low-level design, create, update, and maintain definitions in accordance with architecture design and code standards
• Lead the team: scope planning, performing code review, mentoring team members, and generally making sure things are getting done
• Provide appropriate testing and deployment practice together with other Leads
• Create and update documentation

REQUIREMENTS

• 7+ years of commercial development experience using Java-related technologies
• 2+ years of technical management experience
• Has experience participating in/leading a couple of products at the same time
• Strong Java Core knowledge
• Hands-on experience with microservice/monolith/serverless architectures
• Experience with RDBMS and NoSQL solutions
• Experience with distributed messaging/streaming platforms (Kafka)
• Deep understanding of tests paradigms (Unit, Integration, E2E)
• Deep understanding of CI/CD practices
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with Cloud Solutions (GCP is preferable)
• Ability to understand overall system functionality
• At least Upper-Intermediate English level
• Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills
