I’m working at DeckRobot for over 2 and half years now and I can say it has been the best career decision I made. We are developing and implementing a very exciting and new technology for some of the biggest and well-known companies in the world. Working at DeckRobot is a very valuable experience for everyone who wants to work on a great software product, boost their career, and gain immense expertise in the enterprise biztech.
What I really enjoy about working at DeckRobot is that we have flexible work hours, the team and leadership support is always there, everyone is responsible for the work they put in and we have great corporate events :) Can’t wait to see where we will be in just a year from now.
I have been working for this company for more than half of an year. DeckRobot is a startup, where there is not any hierarchical structure inside the team, where every opinion is listened to and every idea is discussed. In DeckRobot there is some working schedule (from 9 am till 6 pm), but this company is one of the few, where you can get flexible hours for a day or week without any bureaucracy (This is very important especially for students like me). Here the value is result, not how much and where do you work, that is why I am glad to be a part of this team of professionals.
I am working here as a .NET developer for more than 1 year and I can tell for sure that it is and will be one of the most interesting and good experience for all career. Everytime there were and are interesting unusual tasks which I do like to implement and take part in full development process. The team which is here now and people who were with us before are great as people and great as professionals. I am glad to be a part of DeckRobot team.
I’ve been working remotely as Operations Manager for DeckRobot since 2018. It was a part-time side job for me as a student. Though after a while, despite the fact most of the time I provide support remotely, the company feels to me like a family :) I like the most about working for DeckRobot that I have here challenging tasks which are being fairly rewarded. On top, as an Operation Manager I can see how the management takes care not only about the working routine issues but assists with some personal problems of the team. Probably this is the reason why it feels like a family.
The same story with me. I sent test task two weeks ago and got no response. I also wrote to the company’s HR manager few times, but still no response.
Hi Anastasia,
Thank you for your interest in DeckRobot! Unfortunately, we’ve not even seen your CV that means you’ve not passed the CV screening. I apologise for our recruiters confusing you.
For the position of the QA engineer we do require technical experience. However, we have once hired person who was coding since childhood but was never employed as a developer and didn’t have a CS degree.
If you have computer science knowledge, please send your CV to [email protected]. We’d love to send you back our test task and check the completion.
Regarding discrimination: we have in our small team people of different gender, religion, ethnicity, language and place of birth. Moreover, we check CV and profile only for those engineering candidates who have successfully completed test task.
Wish you a good luck!
Tony, CEO

Misha, you could have told all of it in person inside the team with no fear. As a CEO I full obliged to respond to these claims with no reasonable basis.
(1) PM. We do a mix of kanban and scrum. However, we don’t need to follow these methodologies in a religious way. You were free to do whatever you find appropriate inside your sub-team. We’ve also aimed to make you a PM once you manage all the .NET development inside your sub-team.
(2) HOURS. Yes, you have spent 50+ hours on the working place for one week out of 3 months. However, 16 hours out of that were free off-site training we’ve made for you in Lviv. Moreover, the reason you’ve worked some extra hours was an issue with your product. Moreover, you got a half day free the Monday right after that. We’re trying to be more flexible than other early stage product startups and treat our employees with the most human approach as everyone is our long-term asset. Needless to say, we’ve never checked your office hours, only results.
(3) $. I think when we’ve hired you we paid more than enough. Otherwise, I don’t understand the reason you’ve accepted the offer. Moreover, we are offering to any of our employees, literally, unlimited growth opportunities as our company enjoys a decent traction.
To sum it up, I don’t think you had a lot of reasons to blame us for anything. You’ve been working on the very dynamic project with a one in a kind machine learning tech. You had a team to manage from the day 1 even despite your lack of managerial experience. We’re trying to fulfill all your needs to (incl. hiring additional personnel to support your work). We’re grateful for your contribution, however, I don’t personally think it’s fair to blame your co-workers for a failure, which happened to you. We hate losing colleagues as we want every team member to be the most successful inside DeckRobot. This time you could uncover your potential better somewhere else. We wish you a good luck and a dream job to find!
