— Expert level with Scala (highly preferable) or Java / Go / Python with a willingness to learn Scala.
— Experience with at least one of the next technologies: Elasticsearch and ELK stack, Hadoop, MongoDB, Kafka, Zookeeper, Prometheus, Docker. Knowledge of alternatives may be acceptable too.
— Experience with Linux, Bash, Ansible, great to have Kubernetes.
— Have solid OOD/OOP, CI/CD, data structures and algorithmic knowledge.
— Experienced with high-loaded systems, big data flow and streaming pipelines, scaling, multi-tenant, concurrency, containerization, service discovery, orchestration.
— Experience with PaaS/SaaS and microservice architecture.

— Experience in leading the team, initiating product changes and improvements, and the startup approach are highly desirable.

— Create, own, and develop mission-critical pieces of our large-scale data pipeline that processes hundreds of thousands of events per second.
— Create features and maximize performance at multiple levels of the stack either as a feature team member or independently: Scala applications, orchestration, scripting, and bare metal.
— Work on clusters that can ingest multiple terabytes per day, can scale to 100 of nodes.
— Be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of features, identify edge cases, and provide proper maintenance of the codebase.
— Solve the incoming issues, notice the positive and negative trends, and communicate possible problems and achievements clearly and loudly.
— Lead the feature development process, share knowledge and contribute to the team’s value.
— Cooperate with other teams and departments, as well as offices when needed.
