About the role:
It’s a Technology Product Manager with solid experience building technology products, with technical proficiency or even engineering background. Along with that, you should demonstrate knowledge and skills in marketing research and analysis, sales, product and business development, as well as analytical and problem-solving skills.
The role of the Product Manager is to work with the development team in the Kyiv office and with Product Management (currently in the US) to create software components to continue extending Exabeam’s lead in the cybersecurity software space. The candidate must enjoy understanding the customer requirements and conceiving a software product the provides a delightful experience to satisfy those needs. The candidate must also enjoy working with technical people and the excitement of creating high-quality products.
The Product Manager does not get to say, “We have four sprints left, therefore you must do one-fourth of the product backlog this sprint.”; The Product Manager’s job is to motivate the team with a clear, elevating goal. Team members know best what they are capable of, and so they select which user stories from the top of the product backlog they can commit to delivering during any sprint.
A big part of this job is to coordinate and collaborate effectively with the team in the United States. We’re looking for somebody with a positive outlook, leadership skills, and strong collaboration qualities.
