Python Developer for Teton Simulation (3D printing)

Build out a user interface in Cura — written in Python
Create Front-End part as a plugin to another software, developed in Python
In the process — interacting with 3D tessellated models and API calls to Back-End AWS services
Stay up-to-date on new 3D printing software and emerging technologies

Teton Simulation Software is an American advanced materials simulation company. Its team has decades of experience in structural analysis of composite materials with a rich history of development and commercialization of sophisticated material models geared towards structural behavior and progressive failure analysis.

As companies eye additive manufacturing for production parts, it is critical to understand whether the part will have the necessary strength and stiffness to perform under end-use conditions. Teton addresses this challenge with advanced simulation software that can predict the structural performance of a 3D printed part. Teton is particularly adept at analyzing parts containing chopped or continuous fiber.

Teton’s focus is to ensure that every 3d printed part is optimally engineered early in the design phase where iteration and change are relatively inexpensive. Teton’s software is intended to be a one-stop desktop solution for the product development engineer, allowing for iterative structural design with minimal effort. Analysis speed and simplicity will be a hallmark of Teton’s solution.
