The Sales team drives revenue growth at DataRoot Labs, with each member playing a crucial role. As a Business Development and Sales Manager, you will generate new opportunities, acquire customers, and build relationships with leads, prospects, partners, and clients.
We seek a tech-savvy quick learner to boost our team’s performance and drive business. DataRoot Labs specializes in highly technical AI solutions for startups and enterprises, primarily in the US. You will need to quickly learn about our AI technologies and techniques and present them effectively to potential customers. You should be comfortable stepping out of your comfort zone, handling calls often with C-level counterparts, attending conferences and pitching our expertise and services.
This position involves developing and supporting inbound sales efforts, with some outbound activities. You will explore new sales channels and techniques, consistently tracking and measuring your performance.
The ideal candidate has a proven track record in B2B sales, preferably in IT. You will work closely with the CEO and COO to develop and execute sales strategies that align with DataRoot Labs’ growth goals.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategies to drive business in new and existing markets;
- Handle inbound requests and conduct discovery calls with qualified leads;
- Manage the sales pipeline from initial engagement to proposal development and client conversion;
- Support limited outbound strategies, including LinkedIn campaigns and event outreach;
- Prepare the team for conferences by building lists, reaching out to potential customers, and setting up meetings;
- Manage 2-3 established LinkedIn profiles, responding to leads promptly and engagingly;
- Track, analyze, and report on campaign effectiveness, and maintain the CRM with lead information;
- Collaborate with content teams to align lead-generation efforts and suggest new content ideas that drive traffic and leads;
- Conduct market analysis with the help of our market researcher to identify new business opportunities and analyze competitors to suggest new sales techniques;
- Proactively assist in building partnerships and generating new partnership ideas;
Profile:
- 2+ years of sales experience, preferably in B2B sales within the IT sector;
- Autonomous, collaborative, and adaptable mindset with the ability to work independently;
- Results-oriented philosophy with the ability to quickly iterate on results and adapt strategies. Ultimately, new business is what truly matters;
- An open, engaging, and proactive personality who thrives on talking to people and pitching ideas;
- Fluent in English with excellent writing and communication skills;
- Proven effective communication with US and European clients and a track record of closing deals in those markets;
- Familiarity with Sales Navigator, cold outreach, warm-up tools, and CRM systems;
- Curiosity and passion for AI/ML technologies and their transformative potential;
- The candidate has to be based in Kyiv
