—3+ years of software engineering experience (any language) developing web applications
—2+ years of Python development experience required
—Excellent communication skills (English)
—Strong knowledge of Python programming language (key concepts, third-party libraries, internal implementation, differences between Python 2 and 3 versions)
—Good skills working with VCS (git)
—Good understanding of algorithms and data structures
—Understanding of database design, knowledge of SQL, hands-on with NoSQL databases as well
—Understanding of web application architecture and design.

—Backend Development
—Web-frameworks (Flask/Django/Pyramid)
—Working with asynchronous frameworks is a great plus, but not required (aiohttp/tornado/twisted/gevent)
—MongoDB

UI
—HTML5/CSS3
—Good javascript knowledge, experience with popular libraries (jQuery/D3.js/underscore.js)
—Hands on with any of front-end framework (AngularJS/React/Backbone/Vue)

DevOps tools
—Experience with Docker or any other containerization tool
—Experience with AWS/Azure or any other cloud platform
—Working with shell scripting is a plus

You will design and develop internal tools and full-stack web applications that improve the ability of engineering to measure and optimize the quality of the product. Example projects include developing a dashboard that reports trends in product performance data, extending our algorithm testing harness to visualize new metrics that enable data scientists to further optimize the machine learning within the product, etc. Projects may also be within the area of Developer Experience to build internal automation, slack bots and other useful tools to make developers’ lives better.

You will have the ability to work with the best data scientists in the world, helping them to make DataRobot automatic machine learning platform even better.

Successful candidates will be able to lead the design and development of complex web applications, collecting and extracting data, and producing data visualizations within a modern user interface.
