We are seeking a creative go-getter to serve as an in-house Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) Specialist to maximize our demand generation campaign conversion rates. This individual will spend time working both as an individual contributor and collaboratively with a team.
The ideal candidate for this role has a strong digital marketing background (specifically CRO expertise), superior communication skills, and a strong desire to learn and grow in their craft. Demonstrated optimization testing experience is required. We are seeking strong performers with a track record of success that need an environment where they can have an impact and thrive.
Our ideal candidate is a self-motivated individual who has the ability to manage and complete tasks with minimal supervision. This position reports directly to the Digital Analytics & Optimization Manager.
Responsibilities
Creating an overarching CRO (Conversion Rate Optimization) strategy for various channels
Define CRO program goals, measurements, and success criteria
Develop testing plans and schedules for all facets of demand generation tactics, including paid advertising, organic search campaigns, email marketing, nurture programs, social media campaigns, 3rd party campaigns, and complex, digital marketing campaigns
Ensure the CRO program is aligned with the client’s business goals and marketing program
Proactively managing the clients’ testing program in order to maximize results
Implement split testing, multivariate testing, and other testing approaches to improve conversion
Documentation and presentation of test results and findings to clients and broader cross-functional teams
Developing innovative ways to communicate with clients and report results
Implement process efficiencies around CRO and testing
Ensure the optimization process exhaustively reviews our client’s customer behavior in order to determine areas of potential opportunity to improve conversion rates.
Use data-driven insights to propose and design future tests
Main Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in statistics, computer science, information systems, marketing, or another quantitative field
3+ years’ experience in an online optimization testing role (Conversion Rate Optimization) required
Proven analytical skills, strong intellectual curiosity
Upper-intermediate or better English-speaking and writing skills
Working knowledge of site optimization, usability or UX, campaign, and channel optimization
Advanced knowledge of Google Analytics, Google AdWords, Marketo, SalesForce, SEO and CRO tools
Experience working with third-party vendors and experience working closely with clients
Highly motivated change agent that can push against the status quo and seed new ideas, new ways of thinking, and new ways of working
Solid understanding of the customer journey and sales lifecycle
Extremely knowledgeable of UX and best practices
