We are looking for a Scientific Business Analyst with a passion for life sciences, knowledge of business process analysis, and a desire for innovation and continuous improvement.

Role: You will lead and influence projects for our big pharma customers. You will translate scientific needs into application and operational requirements using standard methodologies and tools. You will analyze and evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, translate high-level information into details, and redefine low-level details into higher level general documentation. You will manage regular meetings with stakeholders and end users.


  • Work closely with stakeholders (research and data scientists, R&D IT, and senior management) to understand their business processes, define system goals and technical system requirements.
  • Document the “as is” and “to be” business processes, create requirements. Ensure the development team has absolute clarity on what the requirements are and what needs to be developed.
  • Maintain the backlog of requests, prioritize work, and manage stakeholder expectations.
  • Proactively suggest improvements to processes, both internal and external.


  • Minimum educational requirements: Masters degree or Ph.D. in a life science domain.
  • 3+ years of experience working as a Business Analyst in the life-sciences/biotech industries.
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical drug discovery technologies, tools and methodologies.
  • Ability to interpret and document a variety of scientific and technical processes.
  • Ability to manage and lead software development projects.
  • Strong problem-solving and influencing skills with the ability to independently troubleshoot, develop alternative solutions to problems, and define practical action plans.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. Able to communicate complex technology matters to audiences with varying degrees of technical background. Able to articulate how technology can be used to enable life science research capabilities. Fluent in English.
  • Able to work with a distributed team in the GMT+3 (Kyiv) and GMT-4 (New York) time zones.
