Dataforest is looking for a Data Engineer to join an exciting software development project in the finance sector. We are creating a reporting tool for a financial company—the UK’s leading provider and distributor of specialist property finance.

The main project goal is to create scalable and efficient data warehouse solutions to support reporting and analytics with version control for data models and high data integrity levels.

Projects require close work with data analysts and stakeholders.

Skills requirements:

• 3+ years of experience with Python;
• 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer;
• Experience with AWS (Redshift, DMS, Glue);
• Experience experience with SQL DB;
• Knowledge of Data Warehouse concepts and Data Modeling;
• BI tool — Quicksight or similar;
• DBT (optional).

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain ETL pipelines and data management solutions;
• Design and implement efficient data processing algorithms;
• Data Warehouse Architecture and Modeling;
• Handle data model versioning and conduct thorough testing.
