Solid understanding of Java core;
Possess strong skills in data modeling;
DB query performance tuning, advanced SQL programming;
Data collection, curation, preparation, and transformation;
Data warehousing/dimension modelling, reporting, and business intelligence;
Strong working knowledge of Postgres or relevant experience with another RDBMS (MySQL);
Experience in setting up and maintaining a server for continuous integration (CI/CD);
Experience with bash shell scripts, UNIX utilities & UNIX Commands;
Experience with Apache Hive;
Experience in developing MapReduce-programs under Hadoop;
Highly proficient with cloud based data technologies in the AWS technology stack (EMR, S3, SWF, DataPipeline, Lambda, Redshift, SQS, SNS);
Good spoken English.

Experience with Facebook Presto.

The solutions we’re currently developing affect various aspects of recording studios: tour organization, merchandising, management of licenses and rights, analytical tools.

DataArt has developed a platform that allows you to reuse the functional units and thereby reduce the cost of creating and supporting applications.

This project will allow you to gain experience in working with complex systems and will introduce you to different aspects of the music business.

We are not hiring the specialist just for this project, but also for one of the DataArt companies. When the project is over, or if after some time you no longer are satisfied by the project, you can discuss transitioning to another project with the managers.
