The client helps creators and rights owners match and validate datasets (like works to recordings and songwriters to works) across multiple parties in the music supply chain, ensuring royalties are paid at the speed of digital.

This a new project for DataArt The project stage is new, from scratch.

DataArt is going to develop a modern technology service to track, communicate, and collaborate media data and changes over the life cycle of assets.

The solution should contain data about works, recordings, agreements, and IP assets. This service may be suitable for large global firms and small independent companies. Both are potential clients whose data can enrich the Composite of data gathered from various resources.

The team size is 14 people including Backend developers, Data engineers, Business Analyst, Project Managers, QAs, and Frontend developers. We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer with Snowflake experience to join our project team.

TECHNOLOGY STACK

Snowflake, SQL (Postgres), Liquibase, Kafka, CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, operate, optimize
• Solving data-related business objectives using existing tools

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience with Snowflake
• 3+ years of experience with SQL (Postgres) and comfortable designing, writing, and maintaining complex SQL queries
• Data Warehouse experience and understanding of DWH principles
• Knowledge of migrations (Liquibase)
• Experience working with Kafka
• Understanding of CI/CD processes
• Experience with schema design and data modeling
• Good spoken and written English

Nice to have

• Experience with Debezium
• ELT/ETL development (Airflow or/and AWS Step Functions) experience
• Knowledge of Python 3.9+
• Experience working with Pandas, NumPy
