CLIENT

The client is a British company that provides ready-made white label solutions for sending/returning packages, tracking goods logistics, data management, billing, and more. The client’s main customers are large postal companies, branded clothing stores, “door-to-door” delivery companies, etc. Geographically they cover Europe, the USA, Australia, Japan, etc.

TEAM

The client team is about 90 people across the UK, USA, Australia, and Japan, and is rapidly growing. The whole team with DataArt team members is about 100 people, including Armenia, Serbia, Spain, and Ukraine.

POSITION OVERVIEW

We are looking for a Node.js Developer responsible for managing the interchange of data between the server and the users. The primary focus will be the development of all server-side logic, definition and maintenance of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency with JavaScript & Node.js itself
• Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application, experience with microservice architecture
• Experience with document-oriented databases (e.g. MongoDB, Couchbase)
• Experience with AWS: lambdas, SNS, SQS, DynamoDB, Cloudwatch, SSM, etc.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies
• Fluency in both oral and written English

Nice to have

• Basic understanding of front-end technologies
• Knowledge of Elasticsearch, Kibana, Grafana, Prometheus, k8s and terraform
