О проекте

The client is an American company that produces and sells its own line of hair care products (an alternative to proprietary shampoo and a range of styling products). At the same time, they use a non-trivial sales and marketing methodology that requires a lot of software support.

DataArt has been working on this project for over 4 years. The team currently consists of a team lead, 2 engineers, 2 QAs, DevOps, and PM. We are the main vendor, but there is also a separate team that deals with front-end development. We are currently developing a custom e-commerce platform.

The application is written in Python/Django and deployed on AWS, the infrastructure is quite complex and extensive, at the moment it consists of over 20 servers and over 50 different components. A migration to micro-services is planned.
