3+ years of experience with the Node.js platform
Knowledge of JavaScript
Understanding of the main design patterns, the principles of building client-server systems
Experience with AWS products (Lambda, EC2, ECS, SNS, SQS)
Skills with version control systems (Git)
Good spoken English

Skilled at Couchbase or other DBMS of the NoSQL class
Skilled at frameworks and libraries: Express, Mocha, Chai, Lodash, Bluebird, etc.
Experience in applying unit testing and TDD
Experience with REST Endpoints
Experience in AWS configuration (routing, balancing, DNS, API-gateway)

Our client is a British company that provides parcel delivery services. The company cooperates with dozens of online stores where customers collect their purchases from one of the hundreds of pickup points of our client. In 2018, the company decided to enter the global market signing agreements with some partners outside Europe.

DataArt took part in the development of a dozen of different products for this company: from promo websites to mobile and web applications. The company sells the rights to use these applications (white label approach), and our specialists customize products for new users.

The most prominent product is a web service that allows storehouse employees to keep track of the goods, from registering at the warehouse to delivering to the customer at the collection point.

A microservices solution powered by AWS infrastructure. The greater part is lambda-based, while the smaller part is EC2-based. Main storage is Couchbase augmented with SyncGateway. The codebase is written in JavaScript on top of Node.js
