About client:
We are looking for a Business Data Analyst for our client — a Ukrainian product company in the field of Big Data & AI.
The client is working with cutting-edge technologies, analyzing large amounts of data from social networks, identifying groups of people by photos, and solving useful problems for important areas of our lives now.

About the role:
We are looking for a Business Data Analyst (with a good mathematical background) to join the team.

Requirements:

• 2-3+ years in Business Analysis or related commercial experience with a technically complex product.
• Higher education in the field of mathematics or computer science (from top Ukrainian universities)
• Experience in data analysis, and data-driven decision making (collaborating with the data science team on algorithm development), including the ability to collect and interpret data to support recommendations.
• Experience in collecting technical specifications, and forming tasks for the development team.

Will be a plus:

• Product management experience: gathering feedback, tracking metrics, determining product development directions, and generating new functionality ideas.
• Understanding the basic principles of machine learning, API construction, and features of working with databases, distributed systems, and DevOps.
• Ability to read Python code.
• Ability to work with databases at the level of reading/writing simple SQL queries.

Responsibilities:

• Verification of algorithm results (for example, face recognition), comparison with initial business requirements, and providing recommendations for improvement.
• Creation and detailing of tasks for the development team.
• Participation in all stages of product development — from the collection of customer feedback, and its structuring, to the management of task performance and testing of results.
• Conducting technical communication with clients, and managing technical documentation.
