Darien Group is seeking a talented Front-End WordPress Developer to join our team. This role focuses on building high-quality, custom WordPress websites that bring sophisticated designs to life while ensuring performance, scalability, and exceptional user experience.

You will work closely with our design team to deliver premium digital experiences for leading private equity firms, real estate investors, and investment management companies across the United States.

Your Impact

• Develop custom WordPress websites based on high-fidelity Figma designs.
• Build responsive, pixel-perfect experiences across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
• Create sophisticated animations, interactions, and micro-interactions that enhance user experience while maintaining performance.
• Develop reusable components, templates, and CMS structures that support scalability and efficient content management.
• Collaborate closely with designers throughout the project lifecycle, providing technical input and implementation recommendations.
• Participate in project estimation, technical planning, and solution architecture.
• Ensure websites meet high standards for performance, accessibility, SEO, and security.
• Conduct technical QA in collaboration with designers and proactively identify issues before launch.
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and improve existing WordPress websites.
• Stay current with WordPress, front-end development, and industry best practices.
• Contribute to the evolution of Darien Group’s development processes, standards, and technical capabilities.

How We Build

We primarily build custom WordPress themes and CMS solutions. This is not a page-builder-focused role.

While WordPress experience is valuable, our highest priority is finding developers who excel at front-end implementation, animation, and translating sophisticated designs into polished user experiences.

If you have strong experience with GSAP, ScrollTrigger, responsive development, and building production-ready front-end experiences, we encourage you to apply even if your WordPress experience is limited.

About You

• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, PHP and modern front-end development practices.
• Experience with GSAP, ScrollTrigger, and similar animation libraries.
• Experience developing custom WordPress themes and CMS solutions.
• Strong understanding of Advanced Custom Fields (ACF), custom post types, and flexible content structures.
• Proven experience translating Figma designs into polished, production-ready websites.
• Excellent understanding of responsive development and cross-browser compatibility.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to estimate development effort accurately and communicate technical trade-offs.
• Upper-Intermediate English or higher for collaboration with US-based team members.
• Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.

Would Be an Advantage

• Experience working with investment management, financial services, or professional services brands.
• Experience with website performance optimization.
• Understanding of SEO best practices and technical SEO implementation.
• Familiarity with hosting environments, deployment workflows, and website maintenance.
