About Us
Our company develops software that enables drones to operate autonomously and integrate into a large, manageable ecosystem. Our technology has been battle-tested in Ukraine, one of the world’s most demanding proving grounds for drone warfare.
What We’re Looking For
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Drone Navigation Developer to design, implement, and optimize autonomous flight control and navigation solutions for UAVs and robotic platforms.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with ArduPilot or PX4, SITL, ROS/ROS2, and MAVLink, along with strong skills in embedded development, system configuration, debugging. You will work closely with AI, perception, and platform engineers to build reliable, adaptive, and intelligent autonomous drones.
Key Responsibilities
● Develop, configure, and optimize drone navigation and control functionality based on ArduPilot or PX4
● Design and implement autonomous flight behaviors, mission logic, and navigation pipelines for UAV platforms
● Integrate navigation modules with ROS/ROS2-based autonomy, perception, and higher-level mission systems
● Work with MAVLink telemetry, command, and control interfaces
● Build and maintain simulation-based workflows for development, testing, and validation
● Debug flight behavior, sensor integration, communication issues, and system-level failures in both lab and field environments
● Support integration of GPS, IMU, compass, barometer, rangefinder, vision, and other navigation-related sensors
● Collaborate with AI, perception, embedded, and test teams to improve autonomy performance and system reliability
● Participate in field testing, log analysis, validation, and iteration of real-world autonomous capabilities
Required Qualifications
● Experience with ArduPilot and/or PX4
● Good understanding of UAV navigation, guidance, and control principles
● Experience with ROS or ROS2
● Solid knowledge of MAVLink protocol and related tooling
● Experience with SITL, simulation environments, and hardware-in-the-loop or software-in-the-loop testing
● Ability to configure, tune, and debug autopilot systems
● Proficiency in C++ and/or Python
● Experience working with Linux-based embedded or robotics systems
● Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work across software and hardware boundaries
● Ability to analyze flight logs and troubleshoot real-world system behavior
Nice to Have
● Experience with companion computers and onboard autonomy stacks
● Familiarity with computer vision, VIO, SLAM, or GPS-denied navigation
● Experience integrating drones into larger fleet-management or mission-control ecosystems
● Background in robotics, autonomous systems, or defense-related UAV applications
● Experience with field deployment in challenging or contested environments
What You Will Get
