We’re looking for a Finance Operations Specialist to join our global Finance team and help improve how our billing, collections, and contract operations work.
This is more than a traditional finance operations role. Alongside managing invoicing and accounts receivable, you’ll have the opportunity to streamline processes, reduce manual work, and gradually contribute to automation initiatives that make a real business impact.
You’ll work across multiple international legal entities, collaborating with Finance, Legal, Sales, and Delivery teams. No previous automation experience is required — what matters is curiosity and a genuine interest in improving how things work.
If you’re someone who enjoys asking “Can this be done better?” and then finding the answer, you’ll feel at home here.
• Prepare and issue accurate customer invoices across multiple legal entities and currencies, in line with contractual billing schedules and milestones
• Reconcile invoices against SOW/contract terms before issuance to catch scope, pricing, or schedule discrepancies early
• Monitor accounts receivable, track open balances, and follow up proactively on overdue payments
• Maintain and evolve the AR collection tracker, progressively taking ownership of automating its reporting and follow-up workflows
• Support contract review and approval workflows, verifying that billing terms, payment terms, and pricing are correctly reflected in CRM and billing systems
• Liaise with Legal, Finance, Delivery, and Sales teams to resolve invoicing or contract discrepancies
• Assist with month-end close activities related to billing and revenue recognition
• Maintain accurate, audit-ready records of invoices, contracts, and payment correspondence
• As processes stabilize, shift focus from manual execution toward process design — identifying root causes of recurring issues and helping build automation over time
• Propose and help implement improvements that raise billing accuracy, collection speed, and overall service quality for clients
•
• Good written and spoken English (B2 or above) — this role interfaces with international stakeholders across the US, UK, Germany, and Canada
• Experience with at least one ERP/billing system (e.g., QuickBooks Online, NetSuite, SAP, or similar)
• Solid understanding of the contract-to-cash cycle — how contract terms translate into billing schedules and revenue
• Comfortable working across multiple legal entities and currencies with high attention to detail
• A proactive attitude — willing to flag and help fix process issues, not just report them
• Advanced Excel: SUMIFS, INDEX/MATCH, pivot tables; comfortable with large, multi-sheet datasets
• Working knowledge of an ERP/billing platform (QuickBooks Online, NetSuite, SAP, or equivalent)
• Genuine interest in learning workflow automation and reporting tools (Power Automate, Power BI, or similar) — no prior experience required, but real curiosity is
• Comfort with AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT) for everyday productivity is a plus
• Familiarity with DocuSign or contract lifecycle management tools is a plus
