Crytek Ukraine is announcing an opening for Render/Engine Programmer. We look for talented and ambitious people who meet the following requirements:

• 2+ years of professional render/engine engineering experience in C++
• Strong understanding of the graphics pipeline and rendering APIs
• Solid experience with Direct3D or OpenGL
• Good GPU/CPU debugging and optimization skills
• Strong C++ programming skills
• Good spoken/written English
• Passion to play and make games
• Strong technical background (Bachelor degree+)

Pluses:
• Hobby game projects or mods to existing games
• Knowledge of modern game content production process
• Experience with any game Engines (preferably CRYENGINE)
• Experience writing technical documentation
• Experience with bug-tracking systems
• Version-control systems expertise (Perforce, SVN, CVS, VSS)

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and optimize the CryEngine rendering system
• Profile and optimize performance critical CryEngine code paths
• Create new shader effects
• Actively participate in projects by making recommendations of how to improve product quality
• Collaborate with game development team to create immersive and compelling gameplay experiences
• Responsible for completing all tasks in a timely manner and to a consistent high quality standard
• Developing well designed software within project schedule to team standards
• Responsible for documenting code features
• Showing strong passion for making the highest quality state of the art games
• Is directly responsible for adhering to all company policies and procedures
• Safeguarding of the company’s assets including source code, art work, tools, technical know-how
