• Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science or related discipline or equivalent combination of education, experience, and skills
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role
• Prior experience in a mission-critical 24hr environment
• Experience with Windows AD, clustering and virtualization solutions
• Firm grasp of networking concepts and principals
• Good analytical skills to deal with complex problems involving many system components
• Familiarity with Windows OS performance counters and system event logs
• Excellent prioritizing and team work skills
• High attention to detail
• Ability to efficiently multi-task
• Confident written English (comfortable reading documentation, reading/writing emails)
• Ability to work in a distributed multi-national team
• Ability and desire to work in a fast paced highly technical environment

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• Prior exposure to the financial industry is a plus
• Experience in a distributed system environment with 200+ servers
• Basic/advanced knowledge of linux (CentOS preferred)
• Experience performance-tuning Windows Server 2008r2 and newer.
• Experience performance-tuning any of the last 3 generations of Dell servers
• Scripting/automation experience (Powershell, Python, Ansible)
• Basic knowledge of MS SQL server
• Ability to write simple SQL queries
• Familiarity and experience working with modern rack servers and NAS solutions (preferably Dell/EMC)
• Experience with infrastructure monitoring solutions (Nagios, Check_MK)

• Support 24×7 critical production environments
• Monitor Gateway software health using proprietary monitoring tools, investigate and resolve any irregularities
• Work closely with Product Development to troubleshoot and eliminate critical software issues
• Assist Customer Support with investigation of non-trivial customer inquiries requiring high level of technical knowledge
• Monitor hardware state, perform initial investigation of failures and follow up on problems with warranty providers
• Monitor and analyze system metrics to ensure system performance is within expected parameters
• Perform OS deployments and initial configuration of new hardware
• Deploy new versions of Gateway software to various environments
