🟠 About the project :

We are seeking a highly skilled and self-motivated Chromium and Firefox Extensions Development Engineer to join our tech company. As a key member of our team, you will primarily focus on developing and maintaining browser extensions using the Web Extension API (manifest v3) and related technologies. Your expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, SQL, and Grunt will be essential for refining existing features, implementing BI-driven optimizations, and occasionally developing new features for our extensions. Additionally, you will provide support for related projects as needed.

🟠 Qualifications : (requirements)

— Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
— Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript, with hands-on experience in developing browser extensions.
— Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, SQL, and build tools like Grunt.
— Familiarity with the WebExtension API (manifest v3) and its specifications.
— Experience in refining existing features, resolving bugs, and optimizing code for performance improvements.
— Ability to work with the BI team to implement data-driven optimizations for extensions.
— Proficient in debugging and troubleshooting browser extension issues across different browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Opera).
— Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to independently prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
— Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment.

🟠 Responsibilities:

— Develop and maintain browser extensions primarily using the WebExtension API (manifest v3) for Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Opera, and their respective websites.
— Collaborate closely with the BI team to implement their insights and optimize the extensions for improved performance and user experience.
— Refine existing extension features by resolving bugs, enhancing functionality, and improving code quality.
— Occasionally develop new features for the extensions based on user requirements and business needs.
— Support other related projects that require expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, jQuery, and Grunt.
— Ensure the compatibility and performance of the extensions across different browsers and their updates.
— Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, QA testers, and product managers, to understand requirements and provide technical input.
— Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in browser extensions and related technologies.
