The product is a platform with rich web UI for collecting, visualizing, analyzing and making sense of data from drilling rigs to help oilfield companies optimize their operations and ensure safety. Corva’s platform is modeled as a cloud app store, which gives enormous flexibility. It’s actively evolving and does not contain legacy code or outdated technologies.
— Development of a mobile app with the same functionality on Android platform;
— Development of new features in mobile apps;
— Provide essential test coverage for the apps;
— Work closely with product owners, domain experts, and business analyst to clarify product requirements;
— Work in distributed teams with back-end and front-end developers to align on dependencies, API and components integration;
— Suggest ways for improvement of UX in the applications.
— iOS: Swift, WebView (open React web app pages)
— Android: Java, WebView (open React web app pages)
— B.S. or equivalent degree in Computer Science or relevant areas;
— At least 5 years experience in commercial software programming;
— At least 3 years of Android experience in Java;
— Hands-on with firebase, retrofit, okhttp, eventbus libraries;
— Experience in client-server architectures, protocols;
— Ability to identify anomalies and problems;
— Experience in TDD, Unit Testing, Functional Testing, Refactoring;
— At least upper-intermediate level of written and spoken English;
— Understanding of modern development approaches — continuous integration, unit testing;
— Passion for continuous learning and adapting to new technologies;
— Desire to create high-quality products.
As a Plus
— Personal applications published on Google Play Store or App Store;
— Solid knowledge of application’s architecture and design;
— Hands-on with webview chromium;
— Fluent English.
